Nocturn NO-02 Completes Flight Testing in Lithuania
AForce has flight-tested the Nocturn NO-02 unmanned aircraft in Lithuania. The tests took place at a military site in closed airspace, with representatives of the Lithuanian Armed Forces watching from the ground.
Waiting for the right moment
The weather did not make it easy. Heavy rain fell for most of the day and showed no sign of stopping.
There was no rush, though. The aircraft was ready, the team was confident, and the only open question was the sky. We waited, and when a suitable window came, Nocturn NO-02 took off. The flight went exactly as planned.
Testing with the people who will use it
Testing in Lithuania together with the armed forces is an important part of how we develop Nocturn. It means the aircraft is judged in the field, by people who know what such systems need to do.
We thank the military units that helped organise and support the test.
